ALBA Vochtwering has proven methods against problems with moisture.

Curious how injection works? Take a look at the animations. |
Moisture problems are very troublesome and inconvenient and can also lead to problems with the construction of the building if nothing is done about it.Those parts of the building construction affected by moisture would only worsen with time. Mould could also develop and wooden beams can start to rot, so this is clearly a matter that must be attended to.
With this method of injection we pump a special liquid into the construction. This liquid is watery and capable of filling the construction very well. Once the liquid is inside the construction it reacts and becomes a soft elastic mass, which provides protection against moisture. By having this liquid react into a hard mass, any type of construction can also be hardened and strengthened.
If you would like to learn more about the applications and possibilities of injections, please contact us without delay. We will gladly provide you with more information and work with you on finding the right solution.
Dilatation leak
| Dilatation joints are found in the construction of buildings to ensure that they can move independently from each other as temperatures fluctuate and under other conditions. If these dilatation seams are not fitted properly leaks can occur. We are capable of sealing such leaks properly by first of all locating the origin of the leak, which is then closed off with a flexible injection liquid. This method ensures that the function of the dilatation seam stays intact and the leaks are stopped. Alternatively we can apply a new dilatation seam. |

Wall joint leak
Wall joint leaks are often encountered in concrete constructions. A wall joint is the point where the wall and the floor meet. These leaks can start in a number of ways, e.g. through dirt (sand, wood, plastic, etc.) that had fallen into the framework during the construction process. If this is not removed before the concrete is poured leakages can result. We have the means to provide good solutions for wall joint leakages by injecting the leak with a suitable injection liquid. The results we have achieved with this method up to present have been outstanding and your wall joints will be left clean and dry after we are done.
Water intrusion
Water intrusion is frequently encountered problem. This is most often caused by a hole that had been drilled to the outside for a pipe to be led through a wall, which was not properly sealed again afterwards. The result is that a clearance is left between the pipe and the hole, through which water can easily penetrate the building. This opening has to be sealed off efficiently.
We have a good type of injection liquid for this purpose with which we can efficiently seal such spaces, making them watertight.
Seeping Moisture

Seeping moisture under ground level is often a very serious problem as it can cause layers of plaster to peel or create stains. Humidity in the air is then normally also very high, which is bad for the house.
This problem is often caused by porous bricks or a poor seam, allowing moisture to penetrate. This problem will disappear through injection with a suitable liquid, and allowing the wall to dry out afterwards. This will bring humidity levels down, making the area liveable once more.
Rising Moisture

Rising moisture can be a serious problem and could cause damage to the joisting in the floor and peel layers of plaster from the wall.
This can be prevented through injection. Before the injection process is started, holes are drilled into the wall.
Injection needles are then placed in the construction through which a liquid is injected. A watertight screen will then be formed inside the construction, which will keep moisture out.
After this procedure, the holes are sealed again.
